Dr. Ezzat Ahmed Youssef – An international arbitrator with extensive experience in dispute resolution and arbitration. He previously held the position of Secretary-General of the Egypt Centre for Arbitration and currently serves as the Head of the International Arbitration Committee at the Arab Arbitration Federation, which is affiliated with the League of Arab States.
He has participated as an arbitrator in numerous national and international arbitration cases, representing a number of companies, governmental, and private entities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and several other foreign countries.
He has also handled investment arbitration cases before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in Washington, achieving a notable victory in one of the most significant cases there, based on an objection to jurisdiction.
Furthermore, he has participated in arbitration cases before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA). He is also a member of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) in Geneva.
He manages his operations through his firm’s branches in Cairo, Riyadh, and Turkey.
